By mounting the pump to the valve body, choose if you want the livewell functioning or emptied. When the first fish is caught, place the valve in the "AUTO" position and turn on the pump. The pump will recirculate and aerate the livewell water and simultaneously blend in a portion of fresh water. Used water is expelled as fresh water enters to prevent ammonia build up. When on plane, the valve's check flap prevents water loss out the drain, and the pump continues to recirculate. Water lost out the overflow while running on plane is automatically made up when the boat is brought off plane. Accepts mounting of one standard aerator pump for both filling and recirculation.
